, he was the son of the late Stanley and
Florence
(Grace) Perry. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He had worked for
the labor unions in
Taunton
and
Brockton
. He was a member of
Sacred
Heart
Church
, Middleboro. He was a member of the Mitchell Memorial Club, and the Veterans of
Foreign Wars Post #2188. In his early years, he enjoyed coaching football for
the Mitchell Memorial Club. He also enjoyed NASCAR, playing cards, shuffle
board, playing pool, and camping. Survivors include his longtime companion,
Vivian Wainwright of Middleboro, a son; Timothy Perry of Middleboro, two
daughters; Juliana Norris of Middleboro, Tamra DeMoranville of FL, two brothers;
Stanley Perry and Joseph Perry, both of CA, 5 grandchildren, and 6
great-grandchildren. He was father of the late Darren Perry, and brother of the
late William, James, Lawrence, and Donald Perry. Visiting hours will be held on
Sun. Feb. 13th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home,
35 Oak St.
Middleboro, with a service to be held on Mon. at 10 am. Burial will take place
in the
Massachusetts
National
Cemetery
, Bourne on Mon. at 11:30 am.
