Lee W. “Red” Jennings , aged 65 years, of Middleboro, died March 10, 2007, at Morton Hospital , Taunton , after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Sandra M. (Parker) Jennings ; they were married for 44 years. Born in Bridgewater , MA , son of the late Lewis C. and Beulah (Wood) Jennings . He served in the United States Navy, on the U.S.S. Vermilion. He was supervisor at Winthrop Atkins Company, for over 20 years, and most recently at Ad-A-Day Company. He was a life-long resident of Middleboro. He was a member of the Mitchell Memorial Club, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2188 of Middleboro. He enjoyed target shooting, four-wheeling, horse-shoes, and fishing. He is survived by his wife; Sandra M. (Parker) Jennings, four daughters; Tamy Devore of Middleboro, Diane Frazier, and Rebecca Jennings, of Lakeville, and Vicky Walczak of Middleboro, one brother; Richard Jennings of FL, two sisters; Sally Faucher of Middleboro, and Donna Villaire of Plymouth, 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late, Gerald Jennings, and Nancy Silvia. Funeral services to be held in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro, on Wed. at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, visiting hours Tues. 6-8 p.m. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
