OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO)

            Dascoulias, Angelo Nicholas Dascoulias, aged 87 years, life long resident of Middleboro, died April 15, 2007, at Oak Hill Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness. Beloved husband of the late Helen Marie (Tarr) Dascoulias, who predeceased him in Oct. of 1991. Born and raised in Middleboro, he was the son of the late, Nicholas and Athanasea (Traitouros) Dascoulias. He was a Middleboro High School graduate, class of 1937. He served in WWII in the United States Marines, from 1942-1945, and was honorably discharged as a Tech Sgt. He was co-owner of the Central Café from 1945-1987, along with his brother George. He was a member of the V.F.W. John Glass Post #2188. He was an avid gardener, fisherman, and duck-hunter. He was a life long member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Brockton. Survivors include two daughters; Mary E. Granfield of Middleboro, and Kathleen J. Dascoulias of Boston, one brother; George N. Dascoulias of Middleboro, one grand-daughter; Angela L. Clayton of Middleboro, two great-grandchildren; Nickolas and Emma Clayton, both of Middleboro. He was the brother of the late Bessie Boyle, who predeceased him in April of 2006, and Dimitria Williams, who predeceased him in September of 2006. Funeral to be held on Thurs. at 10 am in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton, with the Rev. John Kiramarios. Relatives and friends are invited to attend; visiting hours will be Wed., at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro, from 3-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to: Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St Brockton, MA 02301, would be appreciated.
