. He was the husband of Patricia (Ahearn) Romsey; they had been married for 64
years. Born in
Medford
; son of the late Charles A and Mary (Coughlin) Romsey. He was a
Boston
College
graduate, class of 1950. He had served in the United States Navy, during WWII.
He was the Parole Supervisor for the Massachusetts Parole Board, and had worked
at the Walpole Prison and Charlestown Prison. He was a member of the American
Legion Post #64. He was an avid bowler, and loved horses. Survivors include his
wife, two sons; Charles D Romsey of Middleboro, Joseph H Romsey of FL, two
daughters; Patricia M Romsey of Middleboro, and Maryanne Lopez of CA, 6
grandchildren, 1 great-grandson. Private funeral arrangements are being handled
by the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleboro. Please omit flowers, donations may be
